College Credit
|
The Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) at SMCC provides qualified high school students with the opportunity to strengthen and enrich their educational experience through direct involvement in college level course work. Students who participate in this program receive college credit which also fulfills high school graduation requirements. The Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program is intended to complement rather than replace the high school college preparatory curriculum. Classes are paid by the state and are held directly on the SMCC Campus by our qualified faculty and staff or at Firelands BGSU. Currently SMCC offers 32 college credit hours without ever leaving our campus. Sophomores must have a 3.50 GPA and Juniors and Seniors a 3.25 GPA to participate in this program. There are deadlines for participation in this program. For more information on the SMCC PSEOP program contact Cathy Zeiher in our Guidance Office through email czeiher@sanduskycentralcatholicschool.org or phone at 419-626-1892 ext 226.
